Before Uncduck had a name, he was a bored sketch on the back of a power bill. A night operator drew him during the final shift of W—UNK, a tiny pirate station above a laundromat.
At exactly 3:17, lightning hit the antenna. Every phone in the block woke up at once. The operator vanished; the paper stayed under the console, drinking thirty-seven seconds of impossible broadcast.
By sunrise the sketch was empty. A white figure in a black beanie was seen leaving the roof. He took the operator's goggles, followed the blue cable into the city, and never once looked surprised.
The operator's younger callers always called him “Unc.” The first witness saw the figure duck beneath a broken antenna and stuttered: “Unc—duck!” The dead frequency repeated it until the city agreed.
EVERY BAD LINE IS EVIDENCE
His look isn't fashion. It is survival equipment for a world that transmits too much.
It holds the missing minute between 3:16 and 3:18. Take it off and the room forgets what night means.

Move across the map. Tap a live node. This is the path of the character — not a promise, not a checklist.
A receipt, a lightning strike, and thirty-seven seconds that should not exist.
INCOMING FROM: UNKNOWN WATER
Uncduck never asks to be followed. He only leaves the frequency open long enough to see who answers.
He is calling from somewhere between stations.
There are clues hiding in the first transmission.
Every phone he passes remembers one call it never received.
